Robin Williams was a great man and actor. Like everyone else, I grew up to movies that had him in it. He was Genie in Aladdin, Mrs. Doubtfire, the great scientist in Flubber, the bat in Fern Gully, and many, many others.
He was also a huge gamer. He loved games, especially Zelda. He even named his daughter Zelda!! I myself am a huge Zelda fan (as most of you can tell.) and I will carry on his love for the franchise, as well as my own.
He was a very kind man and the world will and is a much darker place without him, his laughter, his kind words....Comedy won't be the same without him.
I think we are all grieving for this great loss. I know I was, and still am. I will never forget Robin Williams, he helped me create who I am today. And I will always be grateful to him.
I would also like to touch on the subject of why he died. He hung himself with his belt. Now why would he do that? He was depressed. I just hope that instead of adding to a persons depression, you stop and think about it. You never know what that person, or any person for that matter, could be going through. So I shall ask a favor of all of you, if you know someone suffering like Robin Williams, help them please? Tell and show them you care about them and their well being. Robin Williams could not find his light, but now, I know he is in a better place and not hurting.
I ask this of all of you, to be someones light if they have none. Or to help them through painful times.
All the world is darker without you, Robin Williams. Me, others, the game industries as well grieve. And my future kids will know who you are, that I will promise. The world will not know the meaning of laughter for a very, very long time. ~R.I.P Robin Williams! We love you! ~1951-2014~
